OLYMPIC GOLF COURSE

SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT: 

A new contribution to the Jacarepaguá lagoon complex region, built from a degraded environment for the enjoyment of the world population during the 2016 Olympics and bequeathed to the city of Rio de Janeiro, adding social, environmental and economic development to the region.

OBJECTIVES: 

– Efforts based on the search for social, environmental and economic development; 
– Multidisciplinary team trained to develop new environmental technologies in a sandbank environment
– Compliance with national and international environmental requirements
– Recovery of degraded environment.

ACTIVITIES: 

– Inventory
– management and monitoring of biodiversity (fauna and flora)
– Coordination of the environmental licensing process
– International certification; environmental management plan – EMP
– Irrigation and water conservation project
– Conflict mitigation between public, private and civil society spheres.
