SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT: 

Sports complex built on the former Jacarepaguá race track to host part of the 2016 Olympic Games.

OBJECTIVES: 

– Compliance with current environmental legislation;
– Mitigation of environmental impacts; 
– Support for the maintenance of local biodiversity.

ACTIVITIES: 

– Coordination of the environmental licensing process; 
– Inventory, management and monitoring of biodiversity (fauna and flora); 
– Mangrove vegetation restoration project; 
– Preparation of SAR.
